McGregor to miss out
Stranraer will be without experienced defender David McGregor (knee) when table-topping Queen of the South visit Stark's Park.
Armand One and Michael Moore are both fit again and looking for starting places with manager Stephen Aitken keen for his men to take the game to the Doonhamers.
Aitken said: "We have been desperate to get playing again ever since we defeated East Fife 3-1 a couple of weeks ago.
"Queen of the South have done tremendously well this season but if our boys play like they can, then we will give them something to worry about.
"We went ahead in the game down at their place but ran out of steam the longer the game went on and hopefully we have learned from that."M
Runaway leaders Queen of the South will have to reshuffle the centre of their defence.
Chris Higgins is serving a one-game ban, so either Ryan McGuffie or Stephen Black are expected to step in to cover.
Ian McShane remains sidelined with a hip problem and Willie Gibson's ankle injury keeps him absent with player-manager Allan Johnston still maintaining a low-key approach.
Johnston said: "Stranraer have a decent record at home and have beaten Alloa and East Fife there recently so we need to play at the same high level we have played at all season to win.
"They will be scrapping for the points and they took the lead against us in the last game so we are well warned."
