Elgin have a full squad as Paul Kazcan and David Niven are available after suspension, while Paul Miller has returned from RAF commitments.
Jamie Duff, Jake Inglis and Barry Wilson are all pushing for a starting place after injury, but Neil MacDonald remains suspended.
Stranraer manager Keith Knox: "We have nine games left and we have to win as many of them as possible to put pressure on leaders Arbroath.
"Draws have been hurting our campaign all season and we have now dropped down to fourth on goal difference. We do not wish to fall any further.
"Elgin are a bit like us in that they do not seem to have a problem scoring - it is keeping them out that is the issue."
Elgin City manager Ross Jack: "To get back into a play-off place, we need to go on a run like Queen's Park have done over our last 10 games.
"This would be a massive game to win to start us off in that manner, but we will need to play well to do so.
"Stranraer are a big strong, physical side and have excellent strikers in Armand One and Craig Malcolm."
