Bell to face former club
Stranraer will include Steven Bell as a trialist against his former club Dunfermline as he hopes to secure a deal after three years out of the game due to an Achilles problem.
The Blues do miss Scott Rumsby (groin) and Sean Winter (ankle), with Lloyd Kinnaird facing a fitness test as manager Stephen Aitken plots a fourth win in a row.
Aitken said: "It is a great run and the players have done well but we are not getting carried away.
"Dunfermline will be hurting after losing to East Fife last weekend and we need to be wary of a backlash."
Dunfermline hope to have Jordan Moore and Alex Whittle available to face their in-form hosts after they returned to training on Friday after knocks.
Chris Kane is suspended, with Ryan Williamson added by manager Jim Jefferies as he looks for his players to get back to winning ways.
Jefferies said: "We had the game won against East Fife at 1-0 with 10 minutes to go but then our inexperience told.
"We lost goals as we chased a second, but if we learn from that we can bounce back at Stranraer. They have been on a great run but I'm confident that we can get a result."
